Today it's more of the same,  still no power because of Irene. Sooo... I'm going to tackle the thing that's been bothering me all week. It's been piling up, it's smelly and getting bigger, growing by leaps and bounds, it's headed in the direction of the ceiling, it's THE LAUNDRY.

And guess what else? I actually have to go to the laundromat to do it, I haven't done that in.....well it's be ages and ages!

Come to think of it; laundromats are air conditioned; aren't they? Because I've been without the AC for so many days I might just move in!

  3. Free e-books wow, that sounds great!

Now all I need is a nook or a kindle;which is better i wonder?

I'd be sad if we didn't hook up from time to time to say hello.

I think a glitch on blogger kept you from becoming a follower.

  4. I love laundromats! You can take 15 loads in and be done with it all in one hour. I kinda like that. But, I haven't been to one in years. Boo hoo.

  5. Mark,
15 loads heaven forbid, they better be serving cocktails AND have AC at that laundromat for that many loads!

  8. Hurricane Irene hit Puerto Rico the same day my husband and I were getting on the cruise ship. The ship left the dock early and ran away from the hurricane. I had awesome weather; it was like God had a perfect weather bubble around our ship. You can come look at pictures of my cruise; I posted them on Facebook. I highly recommend going to the Bahamas at least once in your life.

My husband's sister also lost power because of Irene. I'm glad your laundromat still has power!

  9. Thanks Susan,
I'm so glad you're back to blogging, I hope you had a good summer off.

The cruise sounds like heaven, we did one once too! We're flying to Barbados in November, boy I can't wait!

I'm bummed I can't see your pictures however I don't do Facebook. Sorry!

Power came back last night after 104 hours.

  10. Sometimes I think I should take all my laundry to the laundromat... maybe I'd have a chance of it all being gone!
